Lee County Schools Informed Parents Stronger Schools Brighter Futures

Lee County schools, in the open.

A community improvement initiative run by parents in Lee County, Florida. We collect what families, teachers and students are actually seeing inside the district, check it against the public record, and publish both.

Where the Money Went

Every dollar the nine Lee County School Board candidates have spent, line by line, from the expenditure reports they filed themselves. Nonpartisan, equal treatment, never an endorsement.

What each school board campaign has actually spent, taken line by line from the expenditure reports the candidates themselves filed with the Lee County Supervisor of Elections. Raising money is one half of a campaign's ledger. This is the other half.

Every figure here comes from a candidate's own filed report, and the Purpose column shows the wording that candidate's campaign chose. Our category labels are grouped by keyword from those purposes so the totals can be compared across candidates, and the campaign's original wording is printed beside every line so you can check the grouping yourself. Candidates are listed by district and then alphabetically. Spending more is not better and spending less is not better. Reports are filed on a schedule, so a candidate whose latest report has not posted yet will look lower than one whose has. Nothing on this page is an endorsement.
